The Team

Interior Investigations provides successful, cost effective investigations. Our multi-disciplined team draws from their qualifications in surveillance, general investigations, close protection, criminology, insurance, and law enforcement to provide our clients with an exceptional service. Interior Investigations personnel have extensive knowledge of the Criminal Code, federal and provincial statutes, privacy legislation and relevant areas of criminal and civil law.

Interior Investigations is duly licensed, bonded and insured. We have completed over 2,000 separate investigations and have had our evidence accepted in both civil and criminal courts. We have affiliate offices throughout the Province to better serve our clientele (Nanaimo, Cranbrook, Victoria, Kelowna and Vancouver) and are included in a National network as a partner in Investigations Canada, a nationwide group of elite Private Investigation firms.

Leadership

The team at Interior Investigations is led by Steve Hoffman. Steve has worked in the Security industry for the last 19 years. He has worked as both an employee and contractor for Government, Healthcare, Corporate and Private sector clients providing high end security and investigation services. His experience is backed by industry specific training from the Justice Institute of BC, Thompson Rivers University and many different recognized private sector training providers. Steve was certified as a CPP in 2004 by ASIS International and approved as an unrestricted Private Investigator & Security Consultant in the Province of BC by the Ministry of Public Safety & Solicitor General.

Certified Protection Professional (CPP™)

Throughout the world, the Certified Protection Professional (CPP™) designation is acknowledged as the security profession’s highest designation of practitioners. It is evidence that an individual is “Board Certified in Security Management”. The CPP is awarded based upon experience, education and an examination that provides an objective measure of an individual’s broad based knowledge and competency in security management. Ongoing professional development is required in order to maintain the credential. The CPP is administered by ASIS International, the preeminent international organization for security professionals. Steve is the only CPP located in the Interior of British Columbia.
